Q: Vivek Ramaswamy, would you consider being Trump’s VP?

A: “I am open to running with Trump in the following format: I’ll be the President, and he can be my most important senior advisor and mentor in my first year in office.”

In an interview with "New Hampshire Today’s" Chris Ryan at a Labor Day Parade in Milford, NH, Republican Presidential hopeful, Vivek Ramaswamy discusses how his campaign has picked up momentum since the Republican Presidential Candidate Debates; clarifies his views on a number of topics, such as climate change, corporate welfare, and Ukraine; answers whether he would consider running with Donald Trump; gives an impassioned explanation as to why he thinks that he could win the presidency; and clarifies his foreign policy positions.

Vivek Ramaswamy is a 38-year-old businessman who is new to politics. He has an estimated net worth of $600 million and is the author of several books with a B.A. in Biology from Harvard and a law degree from Yale. He has written and spoken out against woke culture, Big Tech censorship, and critical race theory.

The exposure which Ramaswamy received from the Republican Candidate Debates has attracted interest in his campaign, and he is enjoying the interactions that he has experienced with voters in the Granite State. Ramaswamy particularly enjoys discussing details of his policy positions.

He has also gotten more attention from the other candidates in the form of opposition news dumps about previous comments and positions which Ramaswamy has had.

“I didn’t come out of the birth canal spouting Republican talking points.”

Ramaswamy went on to explain how his life experiences and an open mind has brought him to his independent point of view.

Going against the grain, Ramaswamy maintains, has cost him donor money because he is against the climate change agenda, government subsidies for electric vehicles, and wants to end the war in Ukraine.

Ramaswamy is opposed to corporate welfare and wants to take the super Pac puppetry out of politics. Also, he wants to prohibit government officials from working as lobbyists until they are ten years out of office.

Former President Donald Trump, who has a commanding lead among the Republican Candidates, did not attend the August Debates. Most pundits and viewers felt that because Vivek Ramaswamy seemed to be Trump’s stand in that night, he would be a logical choice as Trump’s running mate in 2024.

When he was asked if he would consider running with President Trump, this was Vivek Ramaswamy’s surprising reply.

“I am open to running with Trump in the following format: I’ll be the President, and he can be my most important senior advisor and mentor in my first year in office.”

Ramaswamy went on to state that bringing our country together is the most important task for our next president.

“There is nobody in this race who can reunite all Americans in the way that I can.”

Convinced that his background and his youth will bring about a groundswell of support, Vivek Ramaswamy believes that he can win.

“Trump could win this election, but I can win in a landslide.”

In the final segment of the interview, Vivek Ramaswamy responded to criticism about his foreign policy positions from some of his Republican discussing the type of person that he would seek as a Secretary of State. Ramaswamy would select a classic Cold Warrior, George F. Kennan, an American diplomat, and historian (February 16, 1904-March 17, 2005) who was an advocate of containment.

Ramaswamy would adhere to a foreign policy that rejects neoconservative or liberal hegemonic dogmas which would embroil us in never-ending foreign wars which do not advance American interests.
