On NH Today, Morse: 'FBI Made Investigation into Trump All About Politics'

US Senate candidate Chuck Morse speaks against the FBI search at Mar-A=Lago, “They shouldn’t have made it all about politics. . .They turned this into a political windstorm, and they still haven’t answered the peoples’ questions.”

In an interview with WGIR’s Chris Ryan and Dante Scala, a UNH Political Science Professor, the President of the New Hampshire State Senate and candidate for US Senate, Chuck Morse, avoids saying anything negative about General Don Buldoc, his main opponent in the Republican Senatorial Primary; criticizes the FBI search of President Trump’s residence; lists the three changes needed to ease inflation; and wholeheartedly supports steps taken by the New Hampshire Attorney General, John Formella, to appoint election monitors to ensure voter integrity.

There are five candidates competing in the Republican Primary which will be on September 13,2022. The winner will face incumbent Senator Maggie Hassan on Election Day on November 8th.

A Saint Anselm College poll of Republican voters has retired Brigadier general in the lead with 32%, state Senator Chuck Morse at 16%, former Londonderry Town Manager Kevin Smith and cryptocurrency investor Bruce Fenton tied at 4%, and entrepreneur Vikram Mansharamani at 2%. The largest group in the poll at 39% are the undecided.

Recently on New Hampshire Today, Governor Sununu described Don Buldoc as not being a serious candidate and more of a conspiracy candidate. General Buldoc has a big lead in the polls. When he was asked if he agreed with Governor Sununu’s assessment of Buldoc, Chuck Morse chose to attack Maggie Hassan’s record and to restate his support for Governor Sununu.

Chuck Morse believes that the FBI search for documents at Mar-A-Lago should have been handled differently.

“They shouldn’t have made it all about politics. That’s exactly what the President, the FBI, and the Attorney General did. They turned this into a political windstorm, and they still haven’t answered the peoples’ questions.”

The FBI search and polls showing that Americans being concerned about threats to democracy, to Chuck Morse, those topics are merely distractions to the real concerns to the voting public—the open border and inflation.

Chuck Morse believes that the closing the border, restoring an America first energy policy, and controlling government spending are three things which need to be done to limit the effects of inflation.

In the last segment of the interview, Chuck Morse supported the New Hampshire Attorney General’s sending election monitors to parts of the state.

“We want the public to be confident that our elections are open and honest.”
