New Hampshire Today: Interview with General Don Bolduc

In an interview with Chris Ryan, retired Brigadier General Don Bolduc, who also was a Republican candidate for US Senator in 2020 and plans to run again in 2022, discusses the first few weeks of the Biden Administration; gives his opinion of the impeachment trial of President Trump; and responds to recent polls about his potential rival, Senator Hassan.

General Bolduc, in addition to his very distinguished service record, has degrees in criminal justice, sociology, strategic studies, and business technology.

The General believes that President Biden made several mistakes by trying to quickly overturn the policies of the Trump Administration. General Bolduc lists several executive orders which were quickly put into effect without enough consideration of the possible negative effects.

Don Bolduc calls the killing the Keystone Pipeline Project and cutting off drilling on federal lands a mistake because it eliminated over 100,000 jobs while not offering any plan to replace those lost jobs.

The General believes that the executive orders which were designed to advance transgender rights have had an adverse effect on women’s rights.

Tightening up our country with additional COVID restrictions while relaxing immigration across our southern border is, according to General Bolduc, another example of an ill-conceived plan by the Biden team.

General Bolduc believes that the policies of the Biden Administration are having a destabilizing effect on our nation and are endangering our national security.

If he were a US Senator, Don Bolduc would not vote to convict Donald J. Trump. The General believes the current trial violates the Bill of Attainder clause of the Constitution. As such, the Senate doesn’t have the right to try any private citizen and is denying Donald J. Trump his due process rights.

In the final segment of the interview, General Bolduc responds to a recent St. Anselm Poll which had 39% of voters favoring Senator Hassan being reelected and 47% wanting her replaced. Obviously, Don Bolduc believes that Senator Hassan is vulnerable and that an outsider like him would be a good choice.
