"Sorry I Tased You!" Ohio Officer Apologizes With Personalized Cake

When it comes to apologies, there's no better way to do it than with cake.

It all started when a police officer in Ohio accidentally tased a firefighter while they were responding to a disturbance call.

The Hamilton Township Police Department posted a photo of the apology cake to its Facebook page on Saturday. According to the post, the officer was attempting to assist firefighters during an altercation with a patient at a local hospital last week when the accident occurred.

“While trying to control the patient, Ofc. Workman deployed her TASER Self-Defense device and inadvertently “shocked” FF Rickey Wagoner!” the post read.  "Today Ofc. Workman apologized to FF Wagoner for her actions!"

The cake was decorated with an apology, "Sorry I tased you!" and a frownie face in red frosting. The department also posted a photo of Ofc Workman handing the apology cake to FF Wagoner. Thankfully, the personalized cake seemed to work and the firefighter accepted her apology.

All of us at HTPD appreciate the incredible relationship we have with our FD / EMS!!! #Brotherhood #SameTeam
