Independent voters will be a huge factor in the 2024 election. Vivek Ramaswamy’s youth, business background, and political outsider status appeals to this group.

“A lot of Independents are drawn to someone who is a) outside of government; b) someone who has been a CEO and has built successful businesses; and c) someone who is from the next generation. I have fresh legs when you have gerontocracy which is holding onto the keys to power.”

In an interview with New Hampshire Today’s Chris Ryan, Republican Presidential hopeful, Vivek Ramaswamy discusses the status of his campaign; vows to continue self-funding his campaign even if he doesn’t win in Iowa and New Hampshire; sees himself as the candidate whose background and age best appeals to independent voters; promises to take Trump’s America first policies to the next level; and explains why he has displayed a different temperament in each of the candidate debates.

Vivek Ramaswamy admits that he is an underdog who is sitting in fourth place at about 5% in the polls. However, he feels that many of his supporters don’t show up in the polling data because they are new to Republican politics and politics in general.

He predicts that there will be a dramatic turnout by these undercounted voters in the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary which will springboard him into the White House. Since he is the biggest donor to his campaign, Vivek Ramaswamy will continue his campaign even if he doesn’t win the first two contests.

Vivek Ramaswamy has frequently praised President Trump’s platform, especially his America First policies, and he assures voters that he will be a president that the youths of America can admire.

In the three Republican Candidate Debates, Ramaswamy has been criticized for at times being affable and at other times being confrontational.

“There’s a time and place for everything. As a leader, there is a side of you when you have to work with other people, to be congenial and collegial, and there is a side of you if you are attacked, if somebody hits the United States, my rule is we’re going to hit you ten times harder.”
