General Bolduc hammers home that Senator Hassan doesn’t seem to be concerned with the problems which matter to her constituents.
“I’ve had 76 town halls, and I get zero questions about the climate. People are concerned about heating and eating.”
In an interview with WGIR’s Chris Ryan, Brigadier General Don Bolduc, the Republican candidate for Senate, describes how an unruly protestor tried to assault him as he entered the building for last night’s debate with Senator Maggie Hassan at St. Anselm’s College; makes the claim that Senator Hassan has done nothing to address the problems which Granite Staters are worried about; and discussed the controversy that he has become involved in with the Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire
In a previous interview, General Bolduc related how he has been harassed at other campaign events, on the highway, and even when picking up his granddaughter at preschool.
Last night, a thirty-seven-year-old Rhode island man, named Joseph Hart, was apprehended by Goffstown police after he allegedly took a swing at the 60-year-old retired general. In the interview, Don Bolduc described that groups of supporters for himself and Senator Hassan had gathered outside the debate venue.
As the General exited his vehicle, Hart was shouting obscenities and alleging that Bolduc was a war criminal.
“I waved to him and said, ‘Good to see ya’ and then went over to my supporters. . .Next thing I know he’s closing with me, I reduced my profile and braced for impact. Fortunate for me, he didn’t make full contact, slight grazing. That was it.”
In the actual debate, General Bolduc hammered home that Senator Hassan doesn’t seem to be concerned with the problems which matter to her constituents.
“I’ve had 76 town halls, and I get zero questions about the climate. People are concerned about heating and eating.”
General Bolduc went on to say that he too is concerned about the environment; but, like other Granite Staters, he is also concerned about inflation, energy shortages, supply chain problems, the southern border, fentanyl, education, and crime.
In contrast to Senator Hassan, Don Bolduc has engaged in a grass roots campaign where he has engaged in conversations with the voters in all parts of the state.
The General maintains that several individuals who attended Pinkerton Academy told him at a campaign event that there was a subculture of students who identify as catlike animals, called furries, which exist at the school.
Pinkerton Academy has denied that there is such a group at their school and has invited the General to come to the school to discuss the problem. General Bolduc questioned the veracity of the school administrations and compared this problem to other programs which have caused parental concern like critical race theory. He also stated that Maggie Hassan has received a huge amount of money from teacher’s unions.
